Jennifer Torres was born and raised in Dallas, TX and began dancing at the age of 4. She studied jazz, tap, ballet, and later  modern at London School of Dance with Gwen Owens and Misty Owens. Since high school she has had many diverse opportunities dancing in the Collin Dance Ensemble at Collin College, and in the UTD Dance Ensemble at the University of Texas at Dallas. During her time at in college she was fortunate to have participated in many intensive workshops and residencies from such artists as Pilobolous Too, Battleworks, and learning the art of aerial dance with O-T-O Dance. She attended the American College Dance Festival, both with Collin College and UTD. After college she was a member of the professional modern dance company Elledanceworks for nine years performing all over the metroplex. In January of 2015 she found her way back to London School of Dance, teaching Modern and as the Office Manager. She lives in Wylie with her husband Luis, and her two sons Lucas and Elijah.
